Savant's mineral properties include Yava, Blue Moon and Tillex, which have historical resources while Yuby-Gabriela is an earlier stage property lying in the prolific Palaeocene Porphyry Belt of Northern Chile. The Islena Property is well placed along the Atacama Fault and has potential for IOCG-type copper-gold deposits similar to the Candalaria deposit of Freeport Macmoran.
The Yuby-Gabriela and Yava projects are Savant's priority mineral properties. The Yuby-Gabriela property hosts 3 copper-porphyry targets, which are scheduled for drill testing in early 2008.
The recently completed airborne electromagnetic survey over the Yava property identified 15 new conductors that are associated with sulphide-bearing felsic volcanic rocks in an Archean-age greenstone belt. Each of these conductors has potential for silver-rich, polymetallic, massive sulphide mineralizations similar to the nearby Hacket River deposit of Sabina Silver Corporation.
